a Molecular structures and Hirshfeld surface analyses of encapsulated adm molecules. Solvent molecules, minor alkyl conformers, and hydrogen atoms of [3]CdbC are omitted for clarity. Solvent molecules had no direct contact with the adm guest (see also Supplementary Fig. 11). The details of the disordered structures are shown in Supplementary Figs. 7 and 8. b Packing structures of [3]CdbCadm and guest-free [3]CdbC. When the two panels shown in b are viewed as an autostereogram, one may easily notice that the crystal structures of cylinders are unaffected by the introduction of adm guests.
