The experimental data is plotted together with the theoretical prediction for the degree of the second-order correlation function. The theoretical model is based on the photon-number distribution described by Eq. (2) for a situation in which \({\bar{n}}_{{{\mbox{s}}}}=3{\bar{n}}_{{{\mbox{Pl}}}}\). The error bars represent the standard deviation of ten realizations of the experiment. Each experiment consists of ~100,000 photon-number-resolving measurements.
