Multiplex immunofluorescence of FFPE sections of five thymuses aged 1 day–4 months for thymic medullary marker pan-cytokeratin (red), endothelial marker CD31 (light blue), B cell marker CD19 (magenta), plasma cell marker CD138 (yellow) as well as nuclei staining with DAPI (dark blue). Framed sections correspond to ×20 magnification showing both all the cells and the location CD138+ plasma cells within the thymic perivascular space in human neonates. This experiment was repeated independently three times with similar results. Scale bar, 200 µm.
