Coomassie stained denaturing protein electrophoresis gels with seeded and unseeded in vitro fibrils, as well as with ex vivo fibrils, which were incubated with proteinase K for different periods of time as indicated in the figure. The lane next to the marker shows fibrils before proteinase K addition. All experiments were performed in triplicates (n = 3).
