The compounds were classified according to their structure: coumarins (1–5), benzenoids (6) and flavonoids (7–22). The flavonoid group was further divided into four subgroups according to their structure: flavanones (7–9), isoflavones (10–16), flavonol (17) and chalcones (18–22).
