Comparisons of albedo-induced radiative forcing (RF, W/m2) and global warming potentials (GWP, Gt CO2-eq) due to urbanization using different products of high-resolution (1-km) urban land projections a in 2050 relative to 2018 and b in 2100 relative to 2018. The compatibility between SSPs (Chen-2020) and RCPs was adopted from Riahi et al.53, and the compatibility between SRES (Li-2017) and RCPs was determined based on the limits of global warming (for example, B1 matches RCP2.6 since the global warming limits of B1 is 1.1–2.9 °C). “NA” was used for the urbanization scenario in Zhou-2019 as this product follows no scenario families. Error bars shows 90% confidence intervals.
