In blue is depicted the resistance curves for a Quartz-diorite and a Plagioclase (An75), in agreement with the composition of the rocks sampled in the area. In green, we show the frictional stress results obtained by applying the Anderson equation for two different pore pressures: λ1 = 0.4 and λ2 = 0.75. The results support a brittle–ductile transition located at ~8.5–10-km depth.
