Reaction conditions: biomass sawdust (250 mg), RuN/ZnO/C (25 mg, 10 wt%), MeOH (15 mL), 240 °C, H2 (3 MPa at 25 °C, 12 MPa at 240 °C), and 4 h. CA-H and FA-H represent methyl 3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)propanoate and methyl 3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)propanoate, respectively.
