Slices (~1.4 nm thick) through selected regions of representative cryoET tomograms and corresponding segmentations of local features for a WT, b BACHD and c dN17 BACHD primary neurons reveal that neuronal mitochondria in HD mice have swollen cristae and contain enlarged granules compared to controls (WT).
