The internal resistance (R) of NMC811 in Cell 1 at various OCP of the electrode (E) derived from the GITT with data selection interval 5–40 s, the ICI method and the EIS fitting (R0 + R1 + R2 in the equivalent circuit model in Supplementary Fig. 13) during charging and discharging are plotted in a, b, respectively. The maximum of y-axis is set to 200 Ω to show the differences of the data above 3.7 V. The error bars originate from the standard deviation of the linear regression.
