Experiments on OH + CH3SH were carried out in the free-jet flow system at r.h. = 10% and a reaction time of 7.9 s using IPN (isopropyl nitrite) photolysis for OH radical generation. Reactant concentrations are stated in Supplementary Table 1. The error bars for H2SO4 and MSA depict the uncertainty of 20% based on the uncertainty in the calibration factor.
