  1. Experimental data are determined from the integrated intensities of the peaks shown in Fig. 4c–g. These values are compared with those expected according to our numerical simulations. Results for phases I–III are given for the various symmetry-distinct Q-vector types defined in Fig. 3. The errors in the experimentally-determined NSF: SF ratios are the standard error.
