  1. Chi-squared test was conducted to assess the extent of the differences in the proportions of ARGs between the surface categories. (a) Frequency of positive and negative GNB growth among hospital surfaces. (b) Contingency table showing the percentage of negative and positive samples for ARG among hospital surfaces. Significant differences (P < 0.05) were observed when comparing the prevalence of each ARG across surfaces; blaCTX-M-15 and blaOXA-48-like frequency varied significantly between the six surface categories (P < 0.05), but no significant differences in presence across surfaces were observed for blaNDM (P > 0.05).
