Multiple-bit streams are mapped into the optimized coding sequences that are then imposed on the tunable components of PM via MCU. The radiation fields in the desired directions contain the correct symbols, which are interpreted by the intended users. On the contrary, the fields in the undesired directions provide the unintended user (Eve) with distorted symbols, which cannot be interpreted, thereby ensuring DIM and physical security.
