The linear change in the cable voltage from 2000 to 2023 is ΔVCable = −0.14 V (black line). The almost linear change in voltage due to the secular change in the vertical component of the Earth’s magnetic field (EMF) is ΔVEMF = − 0.12 V (cyan line).
