  1. The table reports the summary of titration carried out on the 56 titration datasets distributed over 5 quantiles by average MSA similarity. The columns left to right indicate the quantile parameters (Quantile), the number of datasets in each quantile (# Datasets), the total number of reference branches taking into account the 10 replicates carried out on each dataset (# Reference branches) and the corresponding total number of branches (Total # branches) for each quantile. Additionally, the table shows the number of columns (out of 200) required for the recapitulation of 75% of the reference branches by each type of tree reconstruction method (# Columns). The ML/IMD column reports the ratio of the number of columns needed for 75% reference branch recapitulation for the ML tree compared to the IMD tree. The last row (Total) shows the same data corresponding to the entire dataset.
