From: Unidirectional chiral scattering from single enantiomeric plasmonic nanoparticles

a Schematic of the experimental setup. b–e Experimental and f–i numerical Fourier-space maps of normalised S0 (b, f, d, h) showing the intensity of the scattered light and S3/S0 (c, g, e, i) showing its polarisation for (b, c, f, g) LCP and (d, h, e, i) RCP illumination. In both experiments and numerical simulations the scattering intensity in any measured direction was much larger than the signal noise (numerical noise in the case of simulations) to give reliable valies for S3/S0. In the simulations, the nanohelocoid was rotated by 45° to better represent the experiment.
