The smaller sample sizes for the linear regressions between BMFF and BMD at the respective skeletal sites compared to the analyses in Fig. 2 are the result of not all participants (for whom BMFF was measured) having complete BMD measurements from DXA-scans. Linear regression summary statistics (Beta coefficients [β], R-squared [R2] and p-values [p]) for the multivariate linear regression models, adjusted for Sex, Age and BMI, are shown in the top-right corner of each plot.
