The colors purple, blue, green, yellow, and red correspond to q equal 0, 0.1, 0.2 0.3, and 0.4 Å−1, respectively. The diameter of the filter entrance aperture [indicated by the colored circles in (b)] defining the momentum range in one EEL spectrum (momentum resolution) corresponds to a momentum of 0.04 Å−1.
