For each economic indicator and closure scenario described in Fig. 1, this plot presents resilience scores, where a score of 1 represents perfect resilience and 0 reflects a worst-case response. Resilience here quantifies the capacity of each variable to withstand the economic shock introduced by each closure scenario. The scores highlight variations in resilience across GDP, Employment, Labor Force, Output, and Real Disposable Income, illustrating the relative stability or vulnerability of each indicator when faced with bridge or port disruptions. Note that the Baltimore region displays less resilience to compounding closure scenarios.
