From: Rethinking infrastructure design from component failure to systemic resilience

Each scenario simulates potential outcomes for medium and long-term infrastructure shutdowns, assessing systemwide economic impacts due to different levels of bridge damage. In this study, partial and complete damage scenarios are explored to understand the compounding effects of prolonged shutdowns on regional economic stability and recovery.
