Associations were tested using phylogenetic generalized least squares regressions, either a unweighted or b, c weighted for the number of deaths used to estimate adult life expectancy and 80% adult longevity. b, c points are proportional to the precision of longevity metrics. Slopes originate from phylogenetic regressions presented in Table S8. None of the presented associations reached statistical significance. All statistical tests performed are two-sided and no correction for multiple testing was performed.
