  1. Tandem repeat regions were inventoried if they were at least 50 bp long with at least 3 repeat units and a minimum unit repeat length of 9 bp. Statistics are provided for a select group of Nucleocytoviricota with genome sizes of comparable size to Borgs (65, mostly Imitervirales), a more representative set of Nucleocytoviricota with large genomes, and a large set of Nucleocytoviricota with genomes >10 kbp in length.
