From: Single iron redox sites boost Methanol-SCR at low temperature

Time-resolved in situ FT-IR spectra on H-FER zeolite with (a) 500 ppm NO and 7% O2 flowed in at 300 °C for 30 min; b 1000 ppm CH3OH and 7% O2 flowed in at 300 °C for 30 min after 500 ppm NO flowed in at 300 °C for 30 min. Time-resolved in situ FT-IR spectra on 0.6Fe-FER zeolite with (c) 500 ppm NO and 7% O2 flowed in at 300 °C for 30 min; d 1000 ppm CH3OH and 7% O2 flowed in at 300 °C for 30 min after 500 ppm NO flowed in at 300 °C for 30 min. H2O was introduced by bubbling with N2 (1 mL/min) at 30 °C during all of the tests for the simulation of Methanol-SCR reaction with the co-existence of H2O. e Comparison of reaction energy barrier for the formation of HONO on [FeO]+ at G-site and Fe3+ at B-site in FER zeolite.
