Images were taken on day 0 and at time points of 1, 2, and 5 days during DNRR (touch medium) or wound-induced callus (WIC) (non-touch medium) formation. Arrowheads mark the WOX11 signal in (a). Dashed lines indicate the regenerating root primordium. Calcofluor white (grey) was used to stain cell walls. Scale bar:100 µm. Confocal experiments were independently performed 3 times with similar results.
