Given design domain and targets (top left), the proposed approach can optimize the three sets of design variables (middle left) to generate magneto-mechanical multi-functional metamaterials and structures (right), whose properties can be seamlessly reprogrammed by switching on and off the external stimuli. Fabrication and experimental validation (bottom) are developed to physically demonstrate the target reprogrammable behaviors are accurately achieved.
