Multiple data suggest that the average human living a perfect lifestyle could certainly live into their 90s, only suffering severe frailty in the last few years of their life, so demonstrating morbidity compression. In comparison, a very poor lifestyle seems to be associated with a greatly reduced life expectancy, with many years of ill health. It is also possible that a transgenerational epigenetic inheritance (TGI) mechanism could affect future generations (see last point in conclusions).
