A Using multiplex IHC, we captured the spatial distribution and quantitative changes of NRF2/GPX4 in the slices. Red represents NRF2, green represents GPX4, blue represents DAPI, and the white arrows indicate representative images showing the quantitative changes of NRF2/GPX4 in the SN region. This experiment was repeated once, with similar results. The scale bar is 400 μm. B, C The results of qRT-PCR and Western Blot indicate that the significant reduction in the number of dopaminergic neurons in the SN of PD mice may be caused by ferroptosis due to the inhibition of the NRF2/SLC7A11/GPX4 antioxidant pathway.
