The sheep were kept in five groups with seven sheep in each group. The negative control group (NEG) received no vaccination and no challenge. The positive control (POS) and the experimental groups were challenged with 5000 H. contortus L3 (in week 10). The experimental groups were vaccinated three times subcutaneously with Barbervax® (BVAX), the novel glycoengineered vaccine (GEA) or the non-glycoengineered vaccine (NEA).
