In the version of this article originally published, Figure 1 and Supplementary Table 1 included Pangolin in the list of animal hosts infected with SARS-CoV-2. While there is some evidence for SARS-CoV-2-related coronaviruses circulating in pangolins in Southeast Asia (Wacharapluesadee, S. et al. Nat. Commun. https://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-021-21768-2 (2021)), and they could potentially be susceptible to SARS-CoV-2, there is no evidence of natural or experimental infection of Pagolins with SARS-CoV-2. Therefore, Pangolin has been removed from the figure and supplementary table in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
