Even when using soundscape indices rather than learned features, change in acoustic features was correlated with change in avian community across all datasets (Spearman’s correlation two-sided Mantel test, p = 0.002, 0.001, 0.023, 0.001 for India, Malaysia, Taiwan, USA).
