G.F.C. is a marine ecologist who first studied with Emma in 2003 and who worked closely with her for more than two decades across research and field programmes. A.G.B.P. is a marine ecologist and was a friend and collaborator of Emma for over 20 years at UNSW. A.V. is a marine ecologist at UNSW who worked alongside Emma for two decades.
