The diamond scatter, the line inside the box, lines outside the boxes, and the purple and green dots represent the mean value, median value, 1.5 IQR, and the data, respectively. The two-sided Mann–Whitney test is applied to evaluate the difference between carbonate- and non-carbonate-dominated regions, where p < 0.01 represents highly significant, p < 0.05 represents significant, otherwise there is no statistical significance.
