Performance of multilinguistic regression models for each descriptor, predicting discretized ratings (low, medium, high) of a perceptual descriptor on a trial, given the sniffing parameters when using average ratings across subjects (left) and ratings from the DREAM dataset (right). Model performance was significant for several descriptors (chance correct = 33.34%, P < 0.05, for 14/21 descriptors in all subjects for group average, and 7/21 descriptors for ratings from the DREAM dataset, one-tailed binomial test (FDR corrected), N = 4560 trials in S1 and N = 4320 trials in S2 and S3).
