  1. For the historical period, the table shows average annual excess deaths due to smoke PM2.5 exposure during 2011–2020. For future climate scenarios, the table shows annual excess deaths associated with 10-year average smoke PM2.5 exposure during 2046–2055 (median across 28 GCMs). The table shows estimated results using the lag 0-1 model.
