Unlike the BAGs, sleep duration (x-axis) did not exhibit a U-shaped relationship with the polygenic risk scores (PRS-BAG) of the 23 BAGs derived from common genetic variants (y-axis). For each PRS-BAG, we fitted a generalized additive model (GAM) with cubic regression splines to assess the association between sleep duration and BAG, stratified by sex and sex-sleep interaction term. The solid curves depict estimated PRS-BAG, while shaded bands represent the 95% confidence interval (CI). Significant signals (two-sided P-value < 0.05/23) are shown with coloured icons and the * symbol. Sample-specific BAG minimum values (in hours) of sleep duration are displayed separately for males and females.
