  1. E. coli genomic DNAs sheared into fragments were cloned into vectors and transformed into E. coli. Bacterial clones were then starved to induce outer membrane vesicle (OMV) formation. OMVs were incubated with immortalized bone marrow-derived macrophages (iBMDMs) and cell death was determined through examining supernatant LDH levels. Top 8 genes related to the highest cell death were listed.
