We have recently been made aware of errors in Fig. 5 and Supplementary Fig. 2. Specifically, there seems to be a partial image overlap between two images in Fig. 5d (Day 4, Epiphysis Pz1, CD3 staining and Day 11, Epiphysis Pz1, CD3 staining). Furthermore, Supplementary Fig. 2 appears to contain an erroneous duplicate image for both Day 1, No T cell control (1st image) and Day 1, Pz1 IRES extGLUc (3rd image). These errors in no way impact the scientific conclusions of the manuscript.

Consultation with the coauthors resulted in an extensive search for the correct image. Unfortunately, since the experiment was performed in 2008, we were unable to locate the original images and it is therefore not possible to clarify which condition the duplicates represent. In light of this, we ask the readers to disregard these figures.
