Class

Qualities

Class A

Dates have a secure stratigraphic association and an SD of 25 or less.

Class B

Dates either:

(1) have a secure stratigraphic association and an SD between 26–100; or

(2) have a questionable stratigraphic association and an SD of 25 or less.

Class C

Dates either:

(1) have a secure stratigraphic association and an SD of 101 or above;

(2) have a questionable stratigraphic association and an SD between 26–100; or

(3) have unreported context details and an SD of 50 or less.

Class D

Dates either:

(1) have a questionable stratigraphic association and an SD of 101 or above; or

(2) have unreported context details and an SD of 51 or above.
