The inner circle shows the distribution of genus richness, and the outer circle shows species richness across families. Genus richness ranged from 1 to 27, and species richness ranged from 1 to 123. Both richness metrics were log10-transformed and then standardized to a range of 0 to 1 across the 121 families.
