Coloured markers show observations from pressure sensors (RBR or PBR) that overlapped in time with the offshore buoy (see Fig. 2); data from both deployment years were combined to produce a single scatter plot per site. The solid black 1:1 line denotes perfect agreement; coefficients of determination R2 quantify the fit for each site.
