Conversion of different manganese-based materials to amorphous manganese oxide under the chemical or electrochemical conditions. *In the case of Oxone, the molecular-based mechanism was also reported13. In the presence of oxidant or under electrochemical conditions, different Mn-based compounds such as Mn-oxides, Mn-complexes and non-oxide Mn-salts are converted to amorphous manganese oxides.
