(GI) on chl a, chl b and carotenoid content of fresh foliage detached from chickpea plants raised in soil affected with 0, 25, 50, 100, 200 and 400 μgCdmL−1. Each bar diagram represents the mean of three replicates (n = 3). Corresponding error bars represent standard deviation (S.D.) of replicates. Different letters represent that mean values are significantly different according to DMRT test.
