δ13C and δ15N values measured in bone collagen sampled from dog skeletal remains from Augusta Raurica (AR). Symbol shades denote haplogroups (Hg) (AD) and unknown haplogroups. Isotopic values are plotted against herbivore and herbivorous omnivore stable isotope data from the same site (mean ± 1SD) and selected dog stable isotope data from Roman contexts across Europe and from the Late Iron Age site of Basel-Gasfabrik (2nd-1st century BCE), located < 15 km from Augusta Raurica.
