Spinetail devil ray Mediterranean occurrences (n = 567) recorded in the MEDLEM database17, subdivided into four longitudinal blocks: South west (waters of Morocco, Algeria, N. Tunisia, n = 24); North west (Spain, France, W Italy, n = 379), Central and North Eastern Mediterranean (Strait of Sicily, Adriatic, Ionian, Aegean, n = 139), Levantine Sea (n = 25). Within blocks, data are subdivided by season, as per cent of the block’s total.
