Schematic presentation of the procedure for studying bubble nucleation in emulsions: (1) Water phase is added, (2) Oil phase is put on top, (3) Oil phase is supersaturated under pressure, (4) Oil is emulsified under pressure via stirring, (5) Emulsion is decompressed to observe nucleation start via changes in turbidity and to register the increase in the foamed emulsion volume, and (6) Sample is taken for microscope observations after nucleation.
