(A) Kaplan-Meier analysis showing no correlation between MMP-8 tissue expression and DSS in the whole patient group treated with neoadjuvant therapy (NAT). (B) In the subgroup of patients with strong response to NAT high MMP-8 expression was related to better DSS. (C) MMP-8 expression was not associated with DSS among patients with weak NAT response. Log Rank test was applied and p < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.
