  1. Control: Tap, TFM 1: 1.6 µg/L triflumuron, TFM 2: 10.0 µg/L triflumuron, TFM 3: 24.2 µg/L triflumuron. In each group, 1,000 cells were assayed for DNA damage. Statistical differences between means are indicated by different letters (a−d) in the same line (p < 0.05). The fraction of DNA in the tail serves as the basis for the Comet scale for DNA damage. Damage classification: none or very low (≤ 5%), low (5–20%), moderate (20–40%), high (40–75%), severe (≥ 75%).
