Aspect ratio analysis from mCT image processing for samples from wells B4 and D1. Each row shows the original grayscale image (left), its corresponding binarized and segmented version (center), and the histogram of aspect ratio distribution (right). For B4, both axial and radial sections display similar distributions, with average aspect ratios around 0.48-0.56 and a standard deviation of 0.18. In D1, two axial subregions (middle and top) exhibit slightly lower averages (0.45-0.49) and standard deviations around 0.19-0.20. These results suggest that B4 has more elongated pore structures compared to D1. Dashed lines in the histograms represent mean values (magenta) and one standard deviation (green) from the mean.
