Association between maximum aortic diameter and diseases reported in the EHR (n = 3204) adjusted for aortic length, age and patient sex. The strongest disease associations with maximum aortic diameter were aneurysms, heart valve disorders, hypertension, obesity and overweight, sensorineural hearing loss, disorders of refraction and accommodation, blindness and low vision, and cardiac and circulatory congenital anomalies. The blue dashed horizontal line is the Bonferroni-corrected line of statistical significance. Solid, upward triangles indicate positive associations and empty, downward triangles indicate negative associations. The formula utilized for the PheWAS was pheCode ~ Length + Age + Sex + maxDiameter.
